Fight the Algorithm

Fight the Algorithm

I talk about God.

I talk about life.

I talk about Marketing.

I talk about sales.

I talk about personal branding.

I also talk about whatever I want.

But apparently, that's too much for one brand to talk about. Or is it?

Social media platforms prefer that your content be related only to your niche, but they don't want to discourage you from discussing topics that interest you; they want to keep you talking and engaged.

It's why you only get "some notifications" and not all of them after you post, and it's the reason you get random notifications when you don't. Of course, I'm only speculating.

Some platforms are now telling us to create separate pages for each topic we wish to discuss so as many people can see our content as possible, and it's not that I don't believe them. After all, they are the ones responsible for our visibility.

There's an alternative motive behind it, and here's my straightforward theory:

They want you to spend even more time than you already do on their platform, and this is their new way of forcing your hand.

But these platforms have failed to realize that for most of us, "Brands," we're not interested in getting as many eyes as possible on our content; we're only interested in getting the right ones on it.

We talk about different subjects because that's who we are, but the algorithms have made a grave mistake. They expect that we will study, learn, and make every attempt to revere them,

But people don't worship Algorithms.
