Hey, Derek. "When should I post, and how often should I post?" They never like my answers or, at the very least, are surprised by them.
"Post when you have something to say, whenever you want to, just never force your creativity."
Years ago, Bon Iver's lead singer, Justin Vernon, was asked if he was creating new music because his fanbase was getting "antsy" after waiting nearly five years for their last release.
His reply was straightforward and honest: "I'm always making new music and thinking about making new music, but I won't release something to the world that I'm not proud of. I can't force creativity."
Many creators might advise you to post at ideal times as often as possible. You can enlist Mr. ChatGPT's assistance to curate topics, but using AI to create your content contradicts what we're even discussing.
Good content is authentic, and if you believe in it, it won't matter what time you share it with the world or how frequently you share it.
The right question isn't how often and when to share; it's what to share and how to convey it. But that's another discussion for us content creators to argue over, not you.
For now, make sure you're on the right side of the box, which, in case you hadn't guessed, is outside of it.
By the way, Bon Iver means "Good Winter."
